Due to the low speed of the stepping motor and the large stepping angle, the engraving speed of the engraving machine is slow and the engraving accuracy is poor, which directly affects the furniture. The production efficiency and production quality of the factory, and the stepper motor system is prone to lose steps, and errors cannot be corrected in time, resulting in material loss. As a motion control system with high speed and high subdivision accuracy, the AC servo system has unparalleled advantages here, and it helps to improve the stability of the engraving machine system and greatly improves the overall performance of the engraving machine.
Generally, the stepping angle of a stepping motor is 1.8 degrees and the half-step angle is 0.9 degrees. The resolution per revolution of this type of motor should be 360/0.9=400, and the maximum speed under the effective output power condition is 600RPM. There are two ways to improve the accuracy without changing the motor: one is to reduce the lead of each turn of the screw; the other is to transmit the power of the motor to the screw through a reduction wheel. These two methods are at the cost of reducing the processing speed. Obviously, the speed reduction is contrary to production efficiency. To completely solve the contradiction that speed and accuracy cannot be achieved at the same time, only an AC servo system with faster speed and higher resolution is used.
 
The motor speed can reach 3000RPM under constant torque output, the encoder line number is 2500PPR, the drive uses 4 times frequency technology to subdivide the control pulse 4 to make the motor resolution per revolution reach 10000PPR. Obviously, both its speed and accuracy greatly exceed the requirements of woodworking engraving machines.
